This is a short blog to just say hi to all my blogging friends, have been very busy lately. I have been doing the regular things, graduation an prom time.My close friend twin brother died this week an she is taking it pretty hard. I know it is hard to lose a love one anyone but I imagine its even worse when it is a twin brother or sister.please pray for her strength doing this time,an let me know your thoughts on the death of a twin.

My husband has been in the fix it mood again an at my house that can be rather dangerous, this time he decided that he was going to repair the leak under the sink in our bathroom, after seeing him mess around with it about a week I asked him was he finished yet? he admitted that he had to give up on it, the funny part was that he had taken it apart and could't put it back together. It was useless to fuss or anything  at least he had tried. The big problem really began when I decided to try and save a few bucks by calling a handy man instead of my regular plumber. This man wanted to become a doctor, went to medical school and found out that it was the wrong field for him dropped out and became a plumber instead, from the prices he charge I think that he thinks he is a dr. instead of a plumber, I have to give it to him he is an excellent plumber that enjoys his job and comes when you call him. I called the handy man instead after all he is only going to put it all back together and put a new faucet in. when I left for work all was going well untill I get a frantic call from my husband, the man broke a pipe somewhere in the wall,the house was flooding come home quick. what a mess the handy man cut the water off and went an got a rug doctor an left, whatever had happened  he did't know how to fix and who did I have to call ? My good old regular plumber who dropped everything and came right away and me with pie on my face had to tell him what happened. Not only did I have to pay the handy man but I had to pay the plumber, had to change the padding under my carpet and all because I wanted to save a little money,all because my husband wanted to play plumber.I guess the moral of this story is that a man is worthy of his hire if he can do the job well.

Thaank God I made I through the week, Last week was very rough getting ready for mothers day. just the preparing for the mad rush of customers, hiring enough people to get the job done, the wire orders coming in. Its over and I am glad. Happy to say that it seems like everyone remembered their mom in one way or another. I did not get to check up on my tblog friends an I really missed that so I have some catching up to do. Its so good to just sit back an catch up on my reading.

I went to buy flowers for the shop this morning and had only purchased from one vendor when I stopped to ckeck out more flowers,  purchased them and went to put my flowers in the cart but it was gone, someone had stolen my  cart with everything in it, I was so angry because I had to get another cart an repurchase everything . The question is why do people steal? One lady that works their said that its getting close to mothers day and that is really when you have to be careful because when you turn your back someone will just walk off with your cart pretending that it is theres,unbelieveable I guess I will have to shop with a partner next week. Remember mothers day is on May 8th.

This is to alert everyone that has a credit card to always check your statement closely for purchases made by you or someone else.

My husband has a credit card that he rarely ever uses an never check it , he is a very unobservant man ,  I tell him this all the time. his last statement came with a purchase for $25.20 for an art purchase made in Va. I called the number an it was a private residence. I told him to call an check on it because the card was in his name. when he called. the man told him that he was selling at an art show that day an that he would check into it when my husband told him that he did not make the purchase. the shocker came when he called back an said that the purchase was made by a woman an would he mind if the lady called him. When she called they compared credit card numbers an they both had been issued the same number an the same expiration date by chase. Some woman called the next day an she had him read the numbers to her and she said Oh my God how did I do that? big apology.

I did not think that anything like this could happen, but it did so please take the extra time to check your statement, usually its just a purchase that you did'nt make but you would never think that someone out there might have the same identical number as yours.

Well its that time again friendship Sunday. Its a once a year fundraiser that I started five or was it six years ago at my church. The way it works is roses are available for $3.00 each, you can order as many as you like, we have order sheets for you to fill out with up to six names on one sheet, a place for your message an what service your friend comes to, 8 or 11A:M..some people order flowers for 20 or more people. It is really a blessing how it has grown. I have some people to say I can't order any because I do't have any friends,my reply  is you have to first be a friend to get a friend.I really believe that. I think this is going to be the biggest year ever we have orders for almost 300 now, an when we pass them out on Sunday , you have a lot of last minute people that heaven't ordered wanting to. My problem is getting enough people to help with preparing everything an keeping it all organized. I am already tired thinking about it but I know that it is all worthwhile an the smiles that it brings when they receive their rose is worth all the hard work.

I would like to give all my tblog friends a rose to, happy friendship day.

Well I am back all rested up an ready to get back to business. The lion king was excellent an I highly recomend going to see it with the family.

Went to church today an would love to say that it was all beautiful but would be lying if I did. Its amazing how some people in the church can make you so angry. I am president of one group in the church an we have different fund raisers so we always have a lot on hand if needed. I went to check on the balance an it was totally screwed up, instead of a balance of $600.the two deacons in chg. of the book had us at a -$187. how they got appointed to their positions I will never know. I was so angry That I had to remind myself that I was at church an to calm down an not say what I was thinking because it was not very nice so I shed a tear or two because I was so upset, went on to the choir, we had to sing today.

Made it through the rest of the day fine and decided to not talk about the money issue with the two in chg. My pastor will be back in town tomorrow an I will let him handle it because it was money we raised for his vacation.I hope you all had a blessed day.

I need to just get away from it all for a few days, I have been wrapped up an worrying about everyones problems from friends to Teri Shaivo which I know I will continue to do because it has touched me so deeply.

I am going away for three days to just do fun things with my family. We are going to start out by going to the theater in Costa Mesa to see the Lion King, the kids have never seen a real broadway show before and I think that they will enjoy it.My husband is not that thrilled about seeing it but he wants me to be happy so we are going. I made reservations at the Embassy Suites so that we could relax an maybe take them to disneyland the second day, will plan as we go along. the main thing is to get away for awhile. A well needed rest for the  both of us.

My best friend called to tell me her husbamd of 10 years wants a divorce, when they moved away last year thay were the perfect happy family with three children. What happened in that time I don't know. Another woman is involved, she knows that. The poor girl is devastated, my heart goes out to her, she is in so much pain because he is saying things like I don't love you anymore an stopped loving you a long time ago, to me that is just being cruel. In the meantime she is calling me with an almost daily update an I am going through this with her but it is making me so depressed to hear it , I just want to be hear for her, I just feel blessed that I have never had to go through that in my own marriage. When I think about her three young children an how they love their dad it is really going to be hard for them also.I can't see how he can just throw this all away for another woman.

I just want to vent a little about my electric bill an how unfair the utility  company is. I have paid my bill on time for my business every month, no complaints about any problems with my meter. In Feb. I receive a letter from them telling me that my meter was broke an that they had replaced it in Dec. also they had refigured my bill back for an entire year an on top of what I had already paid I still owed $253.40. Needless to say I was pissed,I called them an she tells me that they have the right to charge back up to 3 years if they want to an I could work out payments, by this time I was to upset an told her I did't need to work out anything because she wasn't getting it untill I paid it an hung up the phone. I have been looking for places to complain to an finally found a utility consumer group on the web, I wrote them Sat. an was very surprised that he called me today. I received a letter from the utility people Friday sayiny that my lights would be turned off tomorrow, I finally had to call them an say that I would pay $100 towards it, this lady was very nice an said she knew that they were being unfair an my lights would not be turned off. this is not over, I want every penny of that $253.40 back.I will continue to fight this an hope that the consumer group will be able to help, they wiill be calling them tomorrow.

I would like to give an update on my young marine from Iraq that ord. the flowers for his girl for valentines day.I tried for four days to deliver them without success, called, went to her house, left messages saying I have flowers for her please call so that we could deliver them, not one call back from her, he would email me an say please try again even after valentines day was over, I called again, still no response. I finally told him to send me his address an I would return his money. I came to the conclusion that this girl did not want his flowers an did not share the same feelings for him as he did for her.

Big surprize today He called an said he was back in town and wanted to see me, he came to the store gave me a big hug an thanked me for all my help,then he told me what I had supected all along she was no longer interested in him an wanted to date others. I felt so sorry for him, this guy has been to Iraq fighting for our country an thinking that he had a girl back home waiting on him. At least she waited untill he got back before telling him.

I  had never seen him before but for anyone that was looking for someone he seemed to be a very nice young man, handsome,single,driving a beautiful red BMW. I thought as he drove off that I did't think that he would be sad for to long, I am sure that some young woman would be happy to receive flowers from him.

The weather is really terrible right now with the constant rain on again off again for the last month.what ever happened to our beautiful Ca. sunshine?I am sure that it will be back to normal soon with the endless days of sun shining for days on end an you get to thinking that it really doesn't rain in southern California.  Back to reality, homes are sliding down hills, one whole block of homes condemmed because they have been built on faulty foundations an no one wants to take the blame, in the meantime home owners have to continue to pay the mortgage for something they can't live in, seems very unfair to me especially when I read that the city wants them to pay to have their own homes demolished.,Its unreal. Human lives are also being lost due to the weather. I received news last night that my friends cousin was killed in a car accident, her car hydroplaned on a wet road an she lost control, killed instantly. The sad thing was when she called to tell me I could't believe it because she was just on the phone with me two hrs. before telling what a wonderful time they had at the wedding of a close relative the day before. Why is it so hard to find the right words to say to confort a greiving friend, I have been in this situation before an you want to say the right things but it is so hard.I went over tonight to sit with her, carried a nice dish garden  an we looked at the last pictures that was taken of her at the wedding.In the end I think that its just best to go an sit with the person an let them do the talking. She said the cousin did't have insurance an that is bad because now the family is going to have to pool thier money together to bury her,I gave a small donation for that, thats one thing we can all do in that situation I guess ,because it is even expensive to die.    & nbsp;   &n bsp;   &nb sp;   &nbs p;     ;         & nbsp;   &n bsp;   &nb sp;   &nbs p;     ;         & nbsp;   &n bsp;   &nb sp;   &nbs p;   

How do you tell a guy that she doesn't want his flowers, I have

this poor guy that calls an order flowers from Irac for  his girl.

The reason I say she doesn't want them is she never calls back.

this is his second time  calling an placing an order,first time he

called an spent lots of money on two designs,roses and a mixed

bouquet.I called an called,left all kinds of messages on both home

an cell, finally caught up with her, beautiful girl,seemrd very happy

when she received them.then he wanted me to email him with her reaction. This time he ordered roses fo valentines to be delivered on

Sat. called back an said he couldn't wait for her to receive them and

would I send them  on Friday instead,no problem anything for our young

service men, I made her a beautiful design pink an white rose mixture

I wanted them myself after making them, pink is my favorite color.

I started calling her early on Friday an left messages, no response.

I personally went  ;by her apt. email from him sat. nite wanting details so

sad for me to say she was probably out of town, he emails back tonite

saying she would be home sunday sometimes, I am just checking my email before checking tblog so its to late now but all she had to do was call an say I'am home please deliver the flowers.I have come to the conclusion that she doesn't want them, I know to many women that would love to have someone sending them roses.

If there is another reason please let me know.

Valentines day is fast approaching an the orders are really coming in.

I need to be back at work right now but I have been going straight for

the last 10 hrs  so I decided to take a break, came home an hubby had

cooked a truly wonderful meal, him loving to watch Emeril is paying off big

time for me, I care nothing about watching Emeril but to each his own.

One funny order came in today, this guy wants somthing delivered to his

 girlfriends classroom (surgical tech class) that is supposed to make

everyone else green wiyh envy, 1 dozen roses in the most expensive

red vase, teddy bear an chocolates an if I could get my driver to sing

or wear a G-String, I told him to let the driver deliver the flowers

an for him to have on the g-string when she comes home.

Three Little Words

I love you, Three little words,not said often enough. Well its that

time of year, Valentines day,a day for lovers, friends or whoever you

want to know, that you love them. You can send candy, cards, diamonds

or flowers, does't matter to me even though I am in the business,

I would get into trouble for saying anything but flowers but the most important thing to me is that we convey it to the ones we love..

Just in case you decide to send flowers,its very important that you

convey the right message. Lets start with roses.roses are the most be-loved flower in the world. Red is the most preferred color,it symbolizes

Love,passion,an unity to name just a few of the meanings of red.

Black rose-death or hatred,purple rose grace an elegance also love at

first sight. Yellow rose--joy an friendship.

Pink rose__appreciation an gratitude. White rose__purity or

innocence. Peach rose__modesty

When giving red roses in full bloom, it means I love you still.

A single rose means you are the only one.
