My husband has been in the fix it mood again an at my house that can be rather dangerous, this time he decided that he was going to repair the leak under the sink in our bathroom, after seeing him mess around with it about a week I asked him was he finished yet? he admitted that he had to give up on it, the funny part was that he had taken it apart and could't put it back together. It was useless to fuss or anything at least he had tried. The big problem really began when I decided to try and save a few bucks by calling a handy man instead of my regular plumber. This man wanted to become a doctor, went to medical school and found out that it was the wrong field for him dropped out and became a plumber instead, from the prices he charge I think that he thinks he is a dr. instead of a plumber, I have to give it to him he is an excellent plumber that enjoys his job and comes when you call him. I called the handy man instead after all he is only going to put it all back together and put a new faucet in. when I left for work all was going well untill I get a frantic call from my husband, the man broke a pipe somewhere in the wall, the house was flooding come home quick. what a mess the handy man cut the water off and went an got a rug doctor an left, whatever had happened he did't know how to fix and who did I have to call ? My good old regular plumber who dropped everything and came right away and me with pie on my face had to tell him what happened. Not only did I have to pay the handy man but I had to pay the plumber, had to change the padding under my carpet and all because I wanted to save a little money, all because my husband wanted to play plumber.I guess the moral of this story is that a man is worthy of his hire if he can do the job well.
